A few special uses of ‘quit’

ঈশ্বরের নামে শপথ করছি, আমি ধুমপান ছেড়ে দিব। = I swear to God that I’ll quit smoking.

আমি ওর আশা বাদ দিয়েছি। = I have quit on him.

আমার থেকে এখনি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিও না। = Don’t quit on me yet.
